Ext4 drive doesn't mount

Hello all,

I encountered the "unsupported features" error while trying to mount an EXT4 partitioned USB 3.0 drive on my RT- AC68P with Merlin V384.4_2 installed.

The drive was formatted in Raspbian as ext4 with the mkfs.ext4 command, with a GPT partition table. Sector size is 4096.

Fdisk -l shows the drive, but I cannot mount it in any of the ways I tried, mostly...

I figured this would help consolidate the issues into one thread to help others as well as @Jack Yaz look at one thread instead of multiple ones. This is for anyone that is noticing that their "Refreshing Page" never completes. It seems to be tied to his scripts and he needs some information from others to help troubleshoot. This is the information he needs per @Jack Yaz

I'm on Merlin 384.10_2 and an Asus RT-AC3100 and I was seeing the same issue with the previous release as well.

On my router I have Diversion installed for ad-blocking and I also run OpenVPN with protonVPN as a client so that my entire LAN is tunneled through this VPN (except for when I connect to my work VPN).

I was seeing occasional network interruptions every couple of days, with my logs showing "Apr 26 15:14:59 WAN_Connection: ISP's DHCP did not function properly." and all my network...

RT-N66U + koolshare

Installed an asuswrt-merlin fork from China to a RT-N66U
seems like working fine ,web gui English is fine, only few chineese character here and there.
however, when I telnet in with putty, it is complaining about this:

although I searched with "grep" to try to find mentioned line, but no success so far,

Problematic DDNS+LE with NameCheap

RT-AC87R with Firmware Version:384.4_2

Using "www.asus.com" as DDNS service provider, it works together with LetsEncrypt.
However, using NameCheap, the IP is updated, but LetsEncrypt fails.

"Remote Access" and "HTTPS" is turned on.
"HTTPS Port of Web Access from WAN" is set to be 443.
"AiCloud" is set to something else.

I see something strange in the "Local Access Config"...

I recently upgraded my internet to gigabit through spectrum (940/40) and noticed I'm not getting good speeds when running speedtest-cli on my home server. My router is the RT-AC88u running Merlin 384.11_beta1 with Bonding/ Link aggregation enabled. I'm using a Rosewill RNG-407-Dualv2 NIC with Ubuntu 18.04. I have a cat8 cable from the modem to the router and cat7 cables from the router to the server. Currently, I'm getting around 350-400 mbps down.

A Guide About Installing ZeroTier on ASUS AC68U Router

**Based on Merlin 380.68_4 Firmware, but should be working on any router that supports Entware.**

1. Entware installation.
`$ entware-setup.sh`

2. Then install ZeroTier using Entware:
`$ opkg update`
`$ opkg install zerotier`

3. Start TUN
You might get this error in step 4 `Cannot open TUN/TAP dev /dev/net/tun: No such file or directory (errno=2)`, then run this at first.
`$ modprobe tun`

4. Start zerotier service
`$ zerotier-one -d`

5. Check service status, should be 200
`$...

It is possible to use Ai-Mesh with asusmerlin installed and if yes, how to setup without the config page?

scribe is a script that installs syslog-ng and logrotate from Entware. The scribe script really just acts as an interface to syslog-ng and to a lesser extent, logrotate. scribe is only invoked by the user, not automatically by any other script during startup, shutdown, etc.

im using the latest 384.10_2 with entware on a RT-AX88U Router and trying to run a snmpd Server.

Installed using #opkg install snmpd snmpd-utils

as discused in this thread f the normal snmpd crashed on the RT-AX88U.
So i tryed the mini-snmp package from entware, wich runs totally fine. Just want to share, if someone need this.

install mini_snmpd, snmp-utils

Asus RT-AC68U rebooting several times a day

Hi,
Sorry for the wrong title , should be ASUS RT-AC86U
Running AC68U Merlin 384.10
Having multiple reboots a day.
Have tried L&LD suggestion on factory reset multiple reboots minimal setup.
Now I have 2 wifi networks , one wired client.
Usb stick with amtm.
Before installing amtm on usb stick the rebooting happen.
I can't find the culpid.
I m attaching a log file. Maybe there is somebody that can see what i m doing wrong.

Hi

I am running an AC86u with rmerlin's firmware.

I'd need to set up a dual wan (wan+ethernet port) but one of the ports should be accessible only in a specified time; is it doable with some sort of scripting? I have absolutely no idea whether it is or not.

I am a complete novice in home networking. I am trying to learn but clearly need some help. I have managed the following: (1) installed Merlin on my ASUS RT-AC3200 router, (2) connected my router VPN client to my NordVPN service and confirmed that it's working (3) confirmed all my LAN devices are working (i.e. Netflix, Hulu, Amazon etc.) when connected to NordVPN, (4) installed a NAS server and confirmed that i can access it.

However, when I am away from my LAN, I would like to connect...
